Attention‼️ Mother Nature seems determined to throw a wrench in our tracks!
Regrettably, we must announce the cancellation of the Sunshine Region convention due to the hurricane heading towards Tampa. Our thanks to Robert Feuerstein, Superintendent of the Northern Division for keeping us updated. And to all of the hard work from the volunteers at the NMRA Sunshine Region, specifically SSR President, Andy Zimmerman.
While we'd rather be weathering our models than actual storms, safety comes first. To our friends in the hurricane's path: we know you'd prefer laying tracks to laying sandbags, but please take all necessary precautions. Sending positive train vibes to all those affected. May your tracks stay dry and your engines remain on solid ground. Stay safe, everyone.
