French Broad E'N'Pire Model Railroad Club Information
Located in Hendersonville, North Carolina, USA
Founded in 1993, The French Broad E’N’Pire is a N Scale Model Railroad Club consisting of members in Hendersonville, NC, and the surrounding areas. The Club is named for the French Broad River Railroad, an actual railroad chartered in 1855 to operate between Greenville and Asheville. The real railroad was never constructed but lives in a railroad layout as the French Broad River Railroad.
Our Club meets across from the historic depot in downtown Hendersonville, hosting a 25’ x 32’ layout, and operates and works on the layout every Wednesday and Saturday. We are open to the public each Saturday from 10-2.
We also host an annual Model Railroad Train Show called Autumn Rails each November at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center in nearby Fletcher.
