Old Boise Model Railroad Club Information

Old Boise Model Railroad Club

Located in Boise, Idaho, USA

The railroad depicts scenes from across the Western U.S. and various types of railroads. You’ll find large industries, small towns, ports, plants, lumber mills and mines. Different types of rail equipment support each of these industries: box cars, flat cars, hoppers, auto racks (rail cars for carrying automobiles), passenger cars and the modern container train.

Located in the basement of the historic Pioneer Building in downtown Boise, the club has been constructing and operating this complex model railroad since 2001. The layout is a permanent display of more than 1,800 square feet, 50 scale miles of track and 210 switches.
