The core of the Bedford Boomers are informal modular model railroading groups with roots in southern New Hampshire. We actually have members in all six New England states as well as New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Our modular layout consists of individually constructed and owned modules that range from scale reproductions of prototype areas to dragons and Viking long boats. The primary concept being that model railroading is fun and organizations such as the Boomers should be inclusive, thus allowing the serious as well as beginners and the more fancifully creative to enjoy the hobby.
