At River City Modelers (RCM) it’s about learning and having fun. We offer something for everyone from the beginner to those who have been in the hobby for many years. Our member’s range from retired railroad employees to the novice who fondly remembers their first train set on Christmas morning. Modeling skills are not required to become a member- just an interest in model railroading.
Our members have a variety of talents and interest and are always eager to learn new skills as well as teach others what they have learned. Our HO scale layout has two levels with over 19 scale miles of track and has been under construction at its current location since January 2009.
If you have an interest in model railroading and would like to learn skills such as track design, scenery, or wiring then consider joining us. If your interest is in operations you can enjoy running trains and switching cars. Regardless of your experience, you will find that our members are friendly and eager to share their knowledge and fondness of railroading.
