Steel City Division Information
The Steel City Division (SCD) is part of the Southeastern Region (SER) of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). The NMRA is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The Division serves the Birmingham and Central Alabama area which includes the following 19 counties: Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Cullman, Fayette, Green, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Randolph, St. Clair, Shelby, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.
