NMRA Mid-Eastern Region Information
The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) promotes and encourages the art and craft of model railroading through education, development of standards and recommended practices, advocacy, and social interaction. There are ~16,500 NMRA members worldwide.
The Mid-Eastern Region (MER), the sponsor of this website, is one of 19 Regions within the NMRA. The MER includes Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia, plus parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and North and South Carolina. There are ~2,000 members in the MER. MER activities include at least one convention each year normally in the Fall.
